On-time arrival & introductions

Your cleaner will arrive within the agreed time window — we'll send you a reminder the evening before and a notification when they're on their way. On first visits, your cleaner will introduce themselves and do a brief walkthrough of the property with you to confirm priorities and any areas of special attention.

First visit? Please allow an extra 10 minutes for the walkthrough.

We work top-to-bottom and room-by-room following a detailed checklist tailored to your service. Kitchens and bathrooms always receive the most thorough attention. For regular visits, we maintain consistency so your home is cleaned the same way every time by the same trusted cleaner.

Finishing Up

Final check & sign-off

Once the clean is complete, your cleaner will do a final walkthrough to ensure every room meets our standards. On regular bookings, your cleaner will leave discreetly if you've opted for an unattended clean. Otherwise, they'll invite you to check everything over before they go.

Before We Arrive

How to prepare
for your clean

You don't need to do much — that's what we're here for. But a few small things will help us deliver the very best results.

Tidy personal clutter

Pick up clothes, toys, paperwork, and personal items off floors and surfaces. We clean around objects, but clearing clutter means we can get to every corner — and you'll get a much more thorough clean.

Clear the kitchen sink & dishwasher

Ensure dirty dishes are dealt with before we arrive. We clean your sink and worktops but we're not able to wash up or unload the dishwasher as part of a standard clean (we can add this as an extra — just ask).

Ensure access to your property

If you won't be home, let us know how we'll access the property in advance — key safe, neighbour, or we can arrange a key holder service. Please also ensure there's parking available nearby for our team.

Secure pets

We love animals, but for the safety and comfort of both your pets and our team, please ensure pets are secured in a safe area while we clean. Some cleaning products, though eco-friendly, can be irritating if pets walk through them while wet.

If there are rooms or items you'd prefer we don't touch, surfaces needing special care, or any specific products you'd like us to use or avoid — let us know when you book or via your client portal. We note everything in your profile.

Common questions

Do I need to be home during the clean? ↓

No — many of our clients aren't home. We just need agreed access arrangements in advance. You'll receive a notification when we arrive and when we leave, with a completion summary.

What if something is accidentally damaged? ↓

We are fully insured against accidental damage. If anything is broken or damaged during your clean, your cleaner will notify you immediately and our team will handle the claim swiftly and fairly.

How long will the clean take? ↓

This depends on property size and service type. A regular clean of a 2-bed home typically takes 2–3 hours. We'll give you an estimated duration when you book, and your cleaner will let you know if anything is likely to run over.

Can I request the same cleaner each time? ↓

Yes — and we actively try to ensure this. Consistency is important to us. If your regular cleaner is unavailable, we'll always notify you in advance and send a vetted colleague who has been briefed on your preferences.

What areas won't you clean? ↓

For health and safety reasons, we don't clean bodily fluids, hazardous materials, or exterior windows above ground level. We also don't move heavy furniture or appliances. All other areas are fair game — just tell us your priorities.

How do I cancel or reschedule? ↓

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. You can do this via email, phone, or your client portal. Cancellations inside 48 hours may incur a small charge — see our terms for details.
